Taking Hai 'an City, a county-level city in Jiangsu Province as an example, since 2017, Hai 'an has started the practice of garbage classification. In cooperation with China Tianying, located in Hai 'an, from source classification, to the collection and transfer after classification, and the end disposal, China Tianying has realized the incineration and power generation of other garbage, the oil extraction of kitchen waste, the harmless recycling of fly ash, and the classification, recycling and resource utilization of recyclable garbage.

In 2018, for example, Haian local and surrounding areas produced a total of 360,000 tons of garbage, which, after conversion, generated a total of more than 100 million KWH of electricity, drove more than 100 local jobs, generated a total of more than 20 million yuan of economic benefits, and developed into a local representative industry.

Lu Ping, vice-president of China Tianying, said: "After sorting the waste, the dry waste is effectively recycled and the wet waste is also specially treated." From perishable waste treatment anaerobic fermentation technology to the world's advanced dry waste by-product treatment technology, today, China has formed a complete chain of garbage classification and waste end treatment, and has brought economic income to environmental protection enterprises and local governments.
